Advert A

This advert is presenting the popular sports drink lucozade (the soft drink marketed as a range of sports and energy drinks) which is manufactured  by the Japanese company 'Sutory'. It provides carbohydrates and electrolytes to enhance hydration and help maintain performance during prolonged endurance exercise. Lucozade is aimed at those who play sports due to the beneficial nutrients provided within the drink which gives people a good energy boost... this is why the company have cleverly used the extremely successful, popular and influential sports figure Gareth Bale as the face of their advertisement as it may appeal to their target audience more through celebrity promotion. In addition, the language choice could be identified as significant due to the fact that the advert states 'In a different league'... this is references to both the drinks popularity and the elements to football itself. The colour scheme of the advert is very eye-catching with the bright blue background and yellow print, also reflecting the colours of the drink itself- Gareth bale (who is the face of the advert) appears to be lost 'dulled down' which allows for the other colours to stand out more, making the drink more memorable.

Advert B
This advert is promoting the charity 'shelter', which is a well known organisation that helps millions of people ever year struggling with bad housing or  homelessness, they offer advice, support and legal services. The advert is reaching out to appeal to their target audience... those who are in need of support. The aim is to make anyone feel like they can turn to them for help, no matter what their situation. The representations employed in the advert is displaying 3 different faces, this emphasises the normality it is for people to feel perhaps upset and scared (shown through the individuals blank faces)- this way of advertisement may evoke people to have a social conscience and believe in collective responsibility.

Advert C
This advert from 'Old Spice' is promoting the American brand of male grooming products encompassing deodorants, shampoos, body washes and soaps. It is manufactured by Procter & gamble. Old Spice was introduced over 80 years ago, since then it has rapidly grown and become a more successful brand as well as increasing their product range. This particular form of advertisement is promoting body wash... It shows a man sitting on a horse  confidently, it can also be identified that there seems to be an informality with language and theme which is shown through evident representing such as the white horse, palm trees, casually dropped sweater, intense facial expressions and finally the proust itself.

Artist And DJ Representation Mood Board

Artist Representation Mood Board

Statement of Intent

Media theoretical framework: -Media language- conventions of products -Media audience- target audience -Media representation- How the message is constructed about groups of people and how the audience relate to these constructions. -Media Industries- The companies behind the products, the legal considerations and how profit is generated by the products. Considerations relating to cross media platforms and where products will appear as part of the campaign. My Statement of Intent One of the most significant aspects about the products I'm producing is the fact that they are made ethically via fair-trade... this is why it is crucial that I showcase my brand as a contemporary company by not only focusing on the stylish and trendy pieces, but also the morally correct way they have been produced. I will be presenting and promoting my brand by displaying the clothing on the two billboards. Both of my billboards will follow a similar theme when promoting the different products

Promotional Photography

Promotional Photography- My Images 3) This first image portrays the artist to be a strong and confident individual as he is directly looking into the camera- this alters the mood and style of the shot in comparison to 'Shot 2' as it creates more intimacy with the viewer of the shot, almost as if he is looking directly at them.          2) This image taken shows my artist holding a guitar as a prop- this is significant as it links with the musical element and adds to the overall theme of creating music. It emphases his interest and dedication as an artist himself and matches the genre.   3) Unlike some of the other various images taken, this particular shot has been taken with much 'softer' lighting. This means it appears to be much more smooth and consistent with fewer shadows. This effect works well considering the artist is wearing a white top so it blends much better with the background. However, the colour of the guitar still breaks up the sho
