Explain how representations in the music video are chosen to promote the artists: Both songs; Unfinished Sympathy by Massive Attack and Titanium by Sia and David Guetta, can be interpreted in different ways in order to promote the artists so that they are appealing to a certain audience or reflecting certain viewpoints and ideas. The extremely popular single 'Titanium' has topped charts with its hit song as well as reaching over 730 million views on its official music video, highlighting its success and popularity. This particular video promotes the artists in an unusual way, contrasting with other typical music video styles due to the fact neither Sia or David Guetta feature in the actual video itself. This could perhaps be seen as expressing the true meaning behind the song in a more obvious way as the focus is not being taken away/distracted by the popular artists themselves. David Guetta- Titanium David Guetta is an extremely successful French songwriter, record producer and remixer who has sold over 9 million albums and 30 million singles worldwide. He released his first album 'Just A Little More Love' in 2002 which was later followed on by the release of the albums 'Guetta Blaster' (2004) and 'pop life' (2007). Guetta achieved mainstream success in 2009 with his album 'One Love' which included hit singles that reached number one in the United Kingdom. His music career continued to grow at a fast rate, especially due to the associated artists that he worked alongside with such as Sia, Nicki Minaj, Avicci and many more. He has won multiple DJ and Music awards throughout the years which highlights his success to the rest of the public audience.
